At AIV statements like quality and service are not just words. They are core beliefs that define who we are. We are an organization committed in delivering premium service and products to provide solutions for our customers. We are conscious of the fact that our service and products improve patient’s lives and we channel this pride and responsibility in everything we do. AIV is an organization that embraces its societal, community and social obligations while balancing its economic responsibility and commitments.
We provide our employees with a challenging and rewarding work environment. Our organization is small enough to know our employees and customers and yet large enough to service all sizes of customers both domestically and internationally.
Our values guide our decisions. These beliefs will grow our organization; bring rewards and satisfaction to us and those we interact with.
AIV's Summer of Hope is an employee driven fundraising program. We raise money through 50/50 raffles, pieing a manager in the face, and other small employee events. Our biggest fundraising activity has been "Casual for a Cause", where employees pay $250 to dress down for the length of the summer.
Our team votes on organizations close to our hearts who will be the recipients of the funds raised each year. Previous beneficiaries have included the American Diabetes Association, Tyler’s Hope, and SPCA of Anne Arundel County. This year's recipients will be Tyler’s Hope, Tyanna Foundation, and SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
2017 Summer of Hope Beneficiaries
Tyler's Hope is a non-profit that focuses on raising money for finding a cure for dystonia. Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder characterized by involuntary muscle contractions, which force certain parts of the body into abnormal, sometimes painful, movements or postures. Dystonia can affect any part of the body including the arms and legs, trunk, neck, eyelids, face, or vocal cords.
The Tyanna Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for reseach and treatment for breast cancer. The Tyanna Foundaton has a chapter that is local to Baltimore, MD. Fun. Feisty. Fearless — for a cause. THE TYANNA FOUNDATION is different. Known for our signature slogan "Save the Girls" we work tirelessly to make breast cancer more comfortable for patients—and less prevalent on the planet.
In memory of a loved team member at AIV, we chose to donate to SPCA of Anne Arundel County again for 2017. The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization in Anne Arundel County. They provide shelter and humane care for homeless animals in need and work as advocates for animal welfare in our community.
We want to thank our sponsors for their continued support and donations for Summer of Hope
