The Aspirus Medford Foundation received generous contributions that led to the acquisition of two new state-of-the-art medical equipment systems, GE Healthcare fetal monitors and the GE Panda® warmer, for Aspirus Hospital and Clinics’ birthing center and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

The Medford, Wisconsin-based healthcare foundation and the nonprofit primary care organization had been thrilled for being able to upgrade their current equipment in the birthing suite that would greatly benefit both mother and child patients.

These new additions to Aspirus Birthing Center offers advancement in improving prenatal and neonatal care. The fetal monitoring equipment from GE Healthcare enables safe, efficient, and high-precision monitoring of mother and baby during labor and after delivery. The GE Panda® warming system for labor and delivery offers an innovative way to keep newborns warm, safe and healthy during routine perinatal care procedures ranging from X-rays to surgery.

The Aspirus Medford Foundation continues to build partnerships with charitable groups and individuals to support Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics in its commitment to support various initiatives and invest on programs dedicated to the advancement of high caliber healthcare services in the entire community and within the region, particularly maternal and fetal medical care.

Cutting-edge healthcare advances such as the GE Healthcare fetal monitor and Panda® warmer are fast becoming vital to the delivery of optimum and safe maternal and foetal care.
